Google always surprises us with their Doodles on special days and makes us remember great people. Since, it started back in 1998, Google Doodles have gone from strength to strength, progressing from small tweaks of logo to full illustrations, animations and even games. As more and more people start adding google search bar to their browsers, Google gives them another reason to visit their homepage with their interesting Doodles. 1. First Day of Spring :
Google showed their creativity on the occasion of Spring equinox the day with equal length of day and night. It usually means to hunker down for colder seasons or time to rise and shine for warmer ones.


2. International Women's Day 2017 :
International Women’s Day is a worldwide event that celebrates women’s achievements – from the political to the social – while calling for gender equality.It has been observed since the early 1900s and is now recognized each year on March 8.



3. Argentinian National Day :
"On this day, 201 years ago, thirty three congressmen gathered in Tucuman, Argentina and declared it to be finally independent of Spain. To celebrate Argentina’s national day this year, we’re diving into the musical instruments and traditions that are dear to its people." said Google as it displayed its doodle.



4. Mothers Day 2017 :
Thomas Woodrow Wilson, the 28th President of the United States, on May 9, 1914, signed a proclamation following untiring efforts by Anna Marie Jarvis.  The United States, then declared the second Sunday of May a national holiday "as a public expression of our love and reverence for the mothers of our country".

5. Fathers Day 2017 :
Father’s Day is celebrated worldwide to recognize the contribution that fathers and father figures make to the lives of their children. This day celebrates fatherhood and male parenting. Although it is celebrated on a variety of dates worldwide, many countries observe this day on the third Sunday in June.

6. ICC Champions Trophy 2017 :
Ah, summer: the sound of leather on willow, and the spectacle of cricket ... cricket! As the tournament begins in the Oval cricket ground, something buzzes outside. Google marked the 140th year of the Wimbledon championships, the world’s oldest tennis tournament. Each year, hundreds of players take a shot at winning this Grand Slam event. Wimbledon has drawn crowds since the dawn of professional tennis, way back when players were using handmade wooden rackets. The tournament is known for its grass courts, perfectly maintained to a neat 8mm — a sturdy height for fast-moving feet.


8. Nutan's 81st Birthday :

9. Holi 2017 :
Google letters were taking on a fresh set of colors in honor of the Holi festival. Coinciding with the arrival of spring, the vibrant celebration looks a lot like the Doodle: people run around happily covering each other in a rainbow of powdery hues.


10. 140th Anniversary of the first test cricket match :
It was a contest between the established English side and the newly-formed Australian team. Australia won the first match, but England won the second match to draw the series 1:1. The rivalry between the English and Australian teams, forged on the field, endures to this day.
